Overview of Enneagram trainings

Founded by Helen Palmer and David Daniels, M.D., the Trifold School of Enneagram Studies™ offers teachings in the Narrative Tradition, using the panel method integrated with many forms of process work, to provide an immersion experience of psychological and spiritual integration.

The Enneagram Intensive™

The five-day Enneagram Intensive is open to anyone with some prior knowledge of the Enneagram who wants to participate in an intensive growth process in a safe and receptive community dedicated to diversity. This course offers a full examination of the structure and psychodynamics of the nine personality types, including the basic proposition, instinctual subtypes, patterns of personal reactivity and defense mechanisms. Graduates are eligible to join the Association of Enneagram Teachers in the Narrative Tradition (AET) as associate members.

The Intensive is offered as a stand-alone workshop or as Section 1 of the Enneagram Professional Training Program™ (EPTP). The four-section EPTP is designed for those who would like to pursue teacher certification or use the Enneagram in their professional practice or workplace. Upon completion of all four EPTP segments, certified teachers may become professional members of AET.

During the Enneagram Intensive, much of the learning happens as participants are interviewed on panels of the same type. The panel interviews bring the Enneagram alive through meaningful conversation and insights. They are set within a rich context of self-observation practices, practical exercises for each type, directed meditations, movement and facilitated interactions between the types. The combined effect creates a profound understanding of nine radically different realities.
